You deserve your time, attention, and care as much as anyone else.

About The Chrysalis Counseling Center

01 — We provide outpatient therapy.

This means that your therapist meets with you on a weekly basis for 45-60 minutes. We can work with you to see you more often if this is appropriate and often, as clients start to meet their goals and feel better, we can meet with you less frequently. Therapy is a process that ebbs and flows. Sometimes clients move toward meeting with their therapist biweekly and then, with the therapist, decide it may be best to meet weekly again. There is no “right way to do therapy”. Each client’s situation is unique to them and their treatment is tailored to meet those unique requirements.

02 — We take insurance.

We are in network with Aetna and Quest Behavioral Health. If you are not covered by one of these insurance companies, we can work with you as an out-of-network provider. Please contact your insurance company to find out about your benefits. If you choose not to use insurance benefits, individual sessions are $160 per hour and couples/family sessions are $175 per hour for our LPCs & LCSWs or $100/$120 respectively for our LACs.

03 — We provide telehealth counseling.

We utilize a confidential, HIPAA compliant software platform to ensure your privacy during telehealth sessions. You will receive an invitation link to the virtual waiting room upon scheduling with your therapist.

04 — We are seeing clients in person.

We are seeing clients out of our office in Moorestown, NJ. Not all of our therapists provide in-person sessions, so if you are interested in in-person therapy, please reach out to us to discuss this option.

05 — You have the right to a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
